Carrington Place –  September 10, 2013

Overview: The beginning of our Outreach programs was a music performance at Carrington Place Retirement Home and Care Center.

A group of excited and cheerful members of the Charlotte congregation visited a local retirement home to provide an evening of music and fellowship to more than 30 residents. There was a blending together of ages and talents ranging from vocal performances to piano, tuba and violin pieces in this hour long recital. The response from the residents and staff was overwhelmingly positive and grateful. This was not only for the music that was provided, but also by just taking the time to sit down and talk with them. As we was leaving, many of the residents told us how special the evening was for them. It was a special evening for us as well.
Thank you to everyone who came out to help!
